Scaffold design is an in-house capability at Lima. Our team produces 2D and 3D layouts that account for site access, sequencing, and structural condition from the start, with independent engineering certification on scopes that need it. Every design complies with AS/NZS 1576.
2D & 3D build layouts

Detailed scaffold drawings tailored to each site's geometry, access points, and trade sequencing. Issued in formats clients can use directly for site induction, planning, and inspection.

Engineering certification

Independent certified engineering support for designs that exceed standard configurations. High-load platforms, tank and vessel access, unusual span or geometry, and any scope requiring sign-off beyond AS/NZS handbook scaffolds.

Complex access solutions

Designs developed for fragile structures, live plant, restricted footprints, and remote sites. We work with clients and asset owners to engineer access without compromising the structure being worked on.

Designed and built to AS/NZS 1576

Every Lima scaffold design is developed in accordance with the AS/NZS 1576 family of standards for scaffolding. Designs that exceed standard handbook configurations are reviewed and certified by an independent engineer before construction begins.

All materials supplied by Lima comply with AS/NZS standards.

Two aging tanks. No tie-ins permitted. Lima's design team engineered a free-standing perimeter scaffold using FlexLock and independent support bays, delivering full installation and dismantle in 14 days, 100% injury and incident free.
